ZOE ALVAREZ
Marketing Strategies & Creative Media Work
I graduated from Cornell in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design and Management and have always been drawn to both the creative and strategic sides of design. I am passionate about the entire process, from developing a product or service to building out the marketing, merchandising, and packaging that brings it to life. As an artist, I have always taken marketing seriously. Whether I was sewing a new piece or running a business, I made sure to present my work in a way that felt intentional. That meant everything from building social media pages to thinking about manufacturing logistics. I believe that design and aesthetics should be present at every step, not just the final product. In school, I chose classes in business, hospitality, psychology, accounting, and finance to give me the tools I needed to approach marketing with both structure and creativity. I love solving problems by finding unexpected and artistic solutions, and that mindset has shaped how I work across content, strategy, and design.

"Lover.y is a virtual wedding planner and media platform that allows brides, grooms, and enthusiasts to discover wedding ideas, receive tips, purchase wedding products, evaluate vendors, and share their findings."
At Loverly, I worked on real wedding submissions and shoppable content for the site. I helped design layouts, write descriptions, and organize each wedding in a way that reflected the vendors and their work. I also created curated shopping lists tied to each event and used affiliate links to connect products with the stories behind them. Along the way, I supported email outreach and contributed to social media, making sure the content across platforms felt clear and connected.
KetiVani is a sustainable fashion brand and fashion design influencer based in Denver, Colorado
At KetiVani, I helped create on-trend reels for over 139K followers on Instagram and TikTok, filming and editing videos using CapCut to reflect the brand and connect with followers. I worked on email campaigns, newsletters, and digital coupons, using performance data to drive content and strategy. I also helped build an affiliate program to partner with influencers and created a space for customer reviews to support marketing and sales.

During my internship, I helped Keti McKenna prepare for her appearance on Great Day Colorado to promote her upcoming fashion show. We worked together on rehearsing her lines and making sure she felt confident about what she wanted to say in the interview.
As a designer, I have always found just as much joy in documenting and marketing my work as I do in creating it. Over the past few years, I have filmed and edited videos showing different stages of my design process, sharing them on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. My content has gained thousands of views, with over 6,500 followers across platforms and some videos reaching 150K views. I use CapCut, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and Procreate to bring my ideas to life. Even in school, I was always the girl in the studio with a tripod, because sharing my work was just as important to me as making it. I bring that same mindset to every project.
